Position Purpose:
- Performs all project work assigned, including but not limited to stripping & refinishing hard floors, bonneting & extracting carpets, waste handling & transport, supply distribution & handling, wall washing, patient and non-patient area cleaning as required.
- High school Diploma or Equivalent
- Performs routine maintenance for hard floors and carpeted areas.
- Set-up and break down areas for catering functions.
- Removal and replacement of cubicle curtains and window drapes.
- Perform removal of waste and bio-hazardous waste from point of origin to proper disposal site.
- Performs cleaning duties in patient and nonpatient areas including but not limited to restrooms, wall washing, window blinds, bed making, and other related duties as assigned or requested.
- High School graduate or equivalent
- 1-3 years of previous housekeeping experience required
- Healthcare experience preferred
- Knowledge of floor care maintenance and handling of regulated/non-regulated waste
- Able to work with chemicals.
- Experience operating an auto scrubber, a vacuum and wet/dry vacuum
- Experience operating high and slow speed buffing machines
- Experience operating spin bonnet and extract carpet
