This is an onsite role in our Orlando office.

We are currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer to provide technical leadership in building and delivering virtual maintenance trainers. The ideal candidate will have a BS in Computer Science or a related field or equivalent experience, as well as at least 7 years of experience developing software using C# or C++. Experience with the Unity game engine and 2 years of experience leading technical teams are also required. Simulation, gaming, or VR experience is a plus. Experience with technical planning, tracking, and oversight is also a plus.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Leads all efforts for the delivery of projects or products, including planning, designing, and testing.
  • Implements software in accordance with customer requirements and design constraints.
  • Uses technical innovations to improve individual and team processes and code development.
  • Makes innovative team contributions that improve the overall team performance and improve customer satisfaction.
  • Continuously learns new concepts and becomes recognized as an expert in certain domains.
  • Works collaboratively with project management to optimize workflow, improve productivity and quality, and manage technical risk.
Physical Requirements:
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for a substantial amount of time operating a computer terminal.
  • Frequently communicates with clients, team members, etc.
  • Travel is required.
