This is a Union Local 2 Union position and membership is required for all service positions. Scheduling is based upon position seniority with shifts being assigned according to operational needs for lunch, dinner and banquet events. Reports to the Food and Beverage Manager.
Responsibilities Include but Are Not Limited to the Following:
- A La Carte and banquet service(s) (plated, buffet, and cocktail style)
- Clean, set up and remove table settings and linen
- Banuet event set up and breakdown
- Maintain clean dining and service area(s)
- Shifts require an emphasis on assisting waiters with the execution of fine dining service (running food, bread and water service, clearing between courses, etc.)
- Prep/side work such as: make coffee/tea, folding linens, resetting tables, etc
- Complete other tasks as assigned by management
- 1-year previous bussing experience in an ALC dining restaurant, hotel, club, or similar outlet preferred
- Must be a team player
- Must have excellent customer service skills
- Flexible schedule is required, with availability to work holidays, weekends, and evenings
- Basic English communication skills required
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time, work independently and have attention to detail
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
- Work independently and have strong attention to detail
- Local 2 membership (include perks of the union)
Benefits:
The Olympic Club offers free meals during work shifts, free golf on Mondays at our Lakeside campus and a variety of sport and social events for employees throughout the year. Benefits include: vacation, PTO, sick time, holidays, and uniforms. Based on the number of shifts worked, full coverage healthcare is available to employees and their dependents.
