As a dosimetrist at our facility, you will:
- Utilize your expertise to generate radiation dose distributions and calculations in collaboration with the Medical Physicist and Radiation Oncologist
- Demonstrate proficiency in radiation oncology and medical physics to develop treatment plans and ensure plan quality
- Operate treatment planning computers and perform quality assurance under the guidance of the Medical Physicist
- Maintain knowledge of radiation safety regulations and treatment protocols
- Completion of a medical dosimetry program or equivalent training with at least 18 months of study, training, and experience
- Proficiency in mathematical concepts and three-dimensional visualization for treatment planning
- Compliance with national and state laws related to medical dosimetry practice
- 5+ years of experience in a related field
- Strong communication skills and ability to work independently while consulting with the medical team as needed
