Job Description

About the Role

This opening is for a Principal MTS, Engineer position in the Engineering Group based in Fremont, California. Candidates performance will be subject to peer review.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leads a team providing Etch technical solutions to key customers
  • Directs technical aspects of the customer relationship including process and Hardware development for new applications
  • Defines process and hardware requirements and acts as liaison between customer and development teams
  • Coordinates resolving customer concerns
  • Works directly with sales, and field teams on hardware- and process-related issues
  • Develops process engineering programs and personnel to add value for the customer and strengthen the customer relationship
  • Responsible for developing strategies for next generation products and processes
  • Plans and implements the development of new and scale-up process formulas
  • Establishes operating equipment specifications and acts as a liaison with product design and development to ensure processes and designs are compatible
  • Ensures reliability standards pertaining to the materials and techniques used in design and production
  • Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel ensuring efficient operation of the function
  • Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • MS in Materials Science Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Equivalent
  • 8-10 years of related experience and 5+ years in management
  • Excellent documentation and communications skill
  • Strong demonstrated skills in process and/or hardware engineering, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and a proven project management track record expected
