Job Description
Superlanet is seeking a PACS Administrator II or III level who is available to support a healthcare organization in Palm Springs, CA. Our client is looking for full time placements, either full-time onsite preferred or people willing to relocate and come onsite.

PACS Administrator II is responsible for providing highly skilled RIS/PACS and CPACS application planning, upgrades and regular maintenance of Pictorial Archiving Communication Systems, assigned applications, integration of modalities, and workflows that support Radiology and Cardiology.

PACS Administrator III is responsible for RIS/PACS and CPACS application architecture, strategic planning, project proposal and overall project execution, upgrades and regular maintenance of Pictorial Archiving Communication Systems and modalities. Serves as a content expert for imaging and cardiology workflows. Works with the RIS/PACS Manager to plan and implement new systems, optimize workflows and system configuration to improve clinical workflows and reduce the opportunities for errors or delays.

Requirements

Certification:

PACS Admin II: IT or Healthcare Certification (DICOM, Radiant, Cupid or other IT related certification,(CDIP), Imaging Professional (CRA, CIIP, CPAS, CPSA, Epic Radiant or Cupid).)

PACS Admin III: (2 certs) one Clinical Certification (AART, RN, RT)and one 'Technical' certification: Security+, A+, Network+, HL7, etc.

Education:
• Required: Associates Degree in IT or healthcare related field or an additional two (2) years of applicable experience in lieu of Associate's Degree
• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or healthcare related field

Experience:
• Required: At least Three (3) years of combined experience in healthcare (level I), at least 7 years of combined PACS experience (level III) technology or working at an imaging vendor or five (5) years relevant combined experience in healthcare and technology in lieu of an Associate's Degree.

The hourly range below is based on the market rate and is contingent on the organization's requisition and qualifications of the candidate:

Level II: 85k-127k

Level III: 93k-139k
