Weekend Rotation Requirements: Every other, up to 3rd weekendHoliday Rotation Requirements: Every 3rdOn Call/Call back: On call - as needed
Requirements:
  • MN RN License
  • Minimum 1+ year of L&D/Mother Baby required
  • BSN or ADN required
  • BLS
  • NRP
  • Fetal Monitoring
  • ACLS (preferred, not required)
  • EMR: Cerner
Other details:
  • Desired Specific Skillset for an ideal candidate: OB triage experience, antepartum, intra-partum and post partum care.  Newborn cares for level 1 nursery.  Skills r/t oxygen or IV therapy for the newborn as well
  • Unit Overview: 5 LDRP with nursery- most newborns room in with Mom, 250 deliveries/year, 2 experienced L&D RN’s per shift, C-Section’s are performed in the OR with the OR crew in attendance
  • Current Patient Ratio: 1:1 in active labor, 2-3 couplets/1 RN on the night shift
  • Scrub Color Required: no specific color required
  • 100 mile radius rule for all travelers
