Summary of Role: The Global Supply Chain - Materials Management team is looking for a candidate that has excellent data analytics skills and communication skills. This role involves data analysis, risk assessment, sustainability overview, and collaboration with various teams. The primary objectives are to optimize supply chain operations, minimize risks, and enhance supply chain resiliency and sustainability. Essential Responsibilities include: Work together with Materials Management team to support analytics & supply chain monitoring. Projects may include, but not limited to: working capital efficiency, kitting & repair program optimization, supply risk monitoring strategy and sustainability improvement opportunity. Analyze data using statistical and reporting tools, such as Excel and PowerBI. Document business process improvements and workflows Perform analysis on process improvements and implement solutions as needed Communicate clear status and target dates for key milestones / task activities Attend weekly meetings with GSC MM US & leadership team. Other Responsibilities: Perform all activities in a safe and responsible manner and support all Environmental, Health, Safety & Security requirements and programs. Required Qualifications: Education – At least a sophomore at time of application and actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Supply Chain, Engineering, Strategic Sourcing, Business or related field through an accredited degree program during the time of internship. Must have at least an overall 3.0 GPA and be in good academic standing. Language Fluency - English (Written & Verbal) Ability to work at least 40 hours per week during the internship. Preferred Qualifications: Prior related internship or co-op experience Demonstrated prior leadership experience in the workplace, school projects, competitions, etc. Project management skills, i.e., the ability to innovate and execute on solutions that matter; the ability to navigate ambiguity.
