Job Title: Occupational Therapist
Location: Various Milestone facilities (mainly ICF facility with potential travel)

Responsibilities:
Evaluation:
- Utilize assessment tools to evaluate individuals' occupational therapy needs.
- Set goals and formulate intervention plans tailored to each individual's status and needs.
- Reassess progress regularly and as determined by the interdisciplinary team.
Programming:
- Provide direct treatment to individuals based on evaluation findings.
- Conduct training sessions with staff to enhance individuals' functional skills.
- Complete accurate documentation in compliance with regulations.
Consultation:
- Conduct in-service training for supervisory, administrative, and direct care staff on occupational therapy techniques.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to maximize individuals' functioning.
- Perform swallow screenings for new admissions to the facility.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in occupational therapy from an accredited program.
- Illinois licensure as an occupational therapist.
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
- Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as an occupational therapist.
- Prior experience in treating individuals with developmental disabilities preferred.
