Purpose

The primary purpose of this position is to provide exceptional customer service while answering incoming customer calls and processing payments.

Accountabilities
  • Process and balance incoming payments processed via various methods.
  • Answer customer calls, document and process requests, and direct calls as needed
  • Prepare bank deposits - manual and electronic
  • Prepare and maintain various spreadsheets
  • Sign visitors in and out and direct them to the appropriate contact person
  • Educate customers about payment methods, assistance programs, etc. and answer other questions they may have
  • Investigate and process unidentified payments
  • Investigate and process returned mail
  • Assist with outgoing mail
  • Follow Liberty Utilities processes and procedures
  • Other duties, as assigned
Education and Experience
  • Associates degree preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work independently, quickly, and accurately
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Must demonstrate professional, friendly customer relations skills on the phone and in person
  • Must be able to multi-task
  • Proficient adding machine skills
  • Keyboarding experience
  • Valid Driver's License

HOURLY RATE: $17.94/H
