Purpose & Scope:

Performs work requiring a thorough knowledge of electrical and electronic principles, wiring specification codes, material properties, and principles of operating equipment, gauges, and instruments.

Core Functions:
  • Follow all safety rules and regulations.
  • Responsible for quality and quantity of work in assigned area.
  • Receives wiring diagrams, blueprints, specifications and instructions from supervisor.
  • Inspects, repairs, installs, and maintains all electrical, electronic, and logic equipment.
  • Dismantles, inspects, repairs, adjusts or replaces faulty parts and wiring.
  • Reassembles, tests, and adjusts equipment for safe and proper orientation.
  • Repairs and adjusts precision instruments and gauges to required tolerances.
  • Performs miscellaneous duties such as periodic inspection, servicing, cleaning, and adjusting automatic controls.
General Qualifications & Experience:
  • High School Diploma/GED required.
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S
  • 3-5 years of work experience as an Electrician/Technician in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Basic mathematical and mechanical skills are required.
  • Strong attention to detail along with ability to multi-task.
  • Proven record of reliable attendance, strong work ethic, and team skills.
  • 2 years of work experience in a manufacturing environment or related education preferred.
  • Ability to lift, push, and/or pull up to 35 pounds or more
