The Staff Accountant will be a detail-oriented, valued partner in providing timely and accurate recording of transactions, account reconciliations and analysis. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounts payable and general accounting practices. The Staff Accountant will work closely with e Controller and accounting team to manage accounts payable and account reconciliation.

Duties and Responsibilities

Be an ethical person to the company, your coworkers and to the customers

Utilize Microsoft Office products in daily work

Assist in fixed asset record keeping and tracking.

Enter and review accounts payable invoices.

Process payments to vendors via ACH and check.

Set-up and maintain customer and vendor accounts.

Identify and research outstanding items for vendors.

Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure adherence to accounting standards and practices.

Prepare reports that provide insights to financial performance and operational efficiency.

Responsible for maintaining confidentiality of customer and vendor information.

Requirements

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Ability to maintain thoroughness and accuracy in tasks assigned.

Proficient data entry skills with details and numbers.

Knowledgeable in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook.

Possess a high degree of integrity when dealing with sensitive information.

Ability to be a proactive, energetic team player.

Proficient in DMSI Agility software a plus but not required.
