SUMMARY: The SharePoint Specialist at Christian Children's Home of Ohio (CCHO) plays a vital role in ensuring the effective utilization and maintenance of SharePoint technology across all departments and ministries within the organization. Working under the supervision of the Director of Information Technology, the SharePoint Specialist is responsible for the design, implementation, customization, and support of SharePoint solutions to meet the needs of the agency.
This is an onsite role, located in Wooster, Ohio.

Job-specific essential functions include the following:
TEAM FIRST: Makes every effort to maintain a 'team first' spirit and atmosphere within the workplace environment, maintaining appropriate working relationships and promoting collaboration.
Manage and maintain the SharePoint environment, including the configuration, customization, and administration of SharePoint sites, libraries, lists, workflows, and permissions.
Design, develop, and implement SharePoint solutions to address business requirements and enhance productivity and collaboration among users.
Provide training and support to end-users on SharePoint functionality, best practices, and governance policies. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SharePoint usage, access, and performance.
Enforce and monitor IT and regulatory security measures within the SharePoint environment, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and other relevant regulations.
Collaborate with IT team members to integrate SharePoint with other systems and applications, as well as manage migration processes for SharePoint content and data.
Create and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and training materials for SharePoint users. Generate reports and analytics to track usage, performance, and compliance metrics.
Manage and maintain Teams environment, including global Teams settings, policies, permissions, and the availability of SharePoint within the Teams application.

REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Proficiency in SharePoint Online and SharePoint Server, including experience with SharePoint Designer, PowerShell, PowerBi, Workflows, and SharePoint Framework (SPFx).
Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture, features, and capabilities, as well as knowledge of SharePoint migration and upgrade processes.
Ability to read, understand, and write technical documentation. Presentation of training or other materials must be organized for effective retention. Must be reliably able to communicate SharePoint information to an employee population comprised of diverse levels of expertise.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex SharePoint issues.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent combination or education and experience.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in SharePoint development, administration, and support.
Technical certifications related to SharePoint (e.g., Microsoft Certified: SharePoint Associate) are a plus.
Valid Ohio Driver's License and a driving record that allows that individual to be insurable on agency policy, as job includes occasional travel to satellite offices.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Prolonged sitting at a desk or workstation and working on a computer.
Required to teach and instruct employees around SharePoint, which could include moving about a classroom, viewing a laptop screen from a distance to observe trainee performance and communicating clearly.
Regularly able to lift/move up to 50 pounds of equipment or boxes.
Must be able to drive a vehicle legally and safely in the state of Ohio or maintain reliable transportation as needed.
CONTINUOUS QUALITY IMPROVEMENT (CQI): All Agency staff are expected to focus on Quality improvement as a part of their job responsibilities, in an effort to make the Agency a safe and healing environment for clients and staff. This expectation includes, but is not limited to teamwork, improving service delivery, fulfilling department goals, and other job-specific tasks that encourage excellence.
This position is contingent upon the completion of a satisfactory background check and drug test, satisfactory reference checks (emails were previously sent to the 3 references listed on your application), as well as the completion of a satisfactory Department of Justice National Sex Offender search and Ohio Alleged Perpetrator Search, as required by our licensing agency.
