We are looking for a Home Healthcare Medical Technician to join our team. This role involves conducting physical exams, diagnostic tests, and treatments under the direction of a virtual healthcare provider. A strong focus on patient care, organization, and customer service is essential. Training will be provided for this exciting opportunity to deliver hospital-level healthcare in the comfort of a patient's home.

Responsibilities:

  • Driving to meet patients at their location and loading/unloading supplies
  • Wearing appropriate PPE and following infection prevention measures
  • Communicating with healthcare providers via video conference
  • Obtaining vital signs and collecting patient data
  • Conducting physical exams and diagnostic tests as directed
  • Performing point-of-care lab testing
  • Preparing discharge instructions
  • Responsible for equipment use, care, and allocation
  • Restocking and cleaning equipment at the end of the shift
  • Other duties as assigned to complete visits and maintain equipment and vehicles

Requirements:

  • EMT certification with NREMT, or EMT-B in good standing, OR Paramedic OR Medical Assistant OR Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse
  • Minimum one year of patient-facing experience
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • BLS, American Heart Association
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 pounds
  • Strong customer service, communication, and technological skills
  • Ability to work a varied schedule with evenings, holidays, and weekends required
