SAP Defense & Security Basis Consultant
Remote (light travel to Hampton VA for meetings)
9+ month contract

Description:

U.S. Navy requires implementation of S/4HANA to support Operational Logistics in a disconnected afloat environment. The current scope of work includes a Fit-to-standard of Navy requirements, prove out of the disconnected solution aboard ships, assisting Navy with KDDs, creating a roadmap, planning integration, data migration for the next phases as well as configuration of a subset of requirements aligned with the first Limited Deployment for ashore activities.

The Basis Technical/Disconnected Solution role applies senior level expertise/capabilities to deliver hands on technical work on SAP Defense and Security (D&S) demo systems, networking and containerization to provide multiple remote (disconnected operations) SAP S/4HANA systems access to central (HQ) SAP S/4HANA systems.

Required skills/Level of Experience:
  • 10+ years of SAP Basis and 2-5yr S/4HANA Basis implementation and post-production support experience,
  • Experience with installation and configuring S/4HANA and Disconnected solutions in AWS Gov Cloud and on premise,
  • Experienced with US Navy Containerization and deployment of applications utilizing containerization, Plans and leads major technology assignments,
  • Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success,
  • Knowledgeable with DoD Impact Level Security requirements, Demonstrated experience presenting briefing to senior customer management and customer stakeholders.
  • Familiar with Navy and/or DoD IT architectures.
  • Federal experience required (DoD experience preferred)
