Assembly Specialist

Assembly Specialist Job SummaryAs an Assembly Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring that all assembly operations are carried out in a timely and efficient manner. You will also be responsible for ensuring that all quality standards and procedures are upheld on the assembly floor. This position is directly under the Assembly Supervisor and will work closely with Engineering and Management in carrying out the production operations of the company.
What an Assembly Specialist will do:
- Follow all work orders, travelers, and blueprints provided by the company
- Maintain a clean, organized, and debris-free work area
- Identify and resolve assembly problems in an efficient manner
- Accurately translate blueprints to determine the best assembly procedure
- Responsible for high-level and technical assemblies e.g., magnet bars or any vacuum-related assemblies with a high level of technical difficulty
- Teach and train lower-level Assembly Technicians to help develop their career growth
- Perform Quality Control functions when needed
- Experience working on all assemblies
- Ability to work closely and efficiently with fellow workers and customers
- Great organizational skills and be able to multi-task
- Previous vacuum related experience
- Strong knowledge of every aspect of quality
- Ability to occasionally list up to 75 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations
