Supreme Rice is looking for an IT Helpdesk Technician at our Crowley location. This position provides support for all aspects of technology equipment such as computer hardware, software, and networking devices for our organization. The person in this position will perform general technical support, including physical installation, configuration, and maintenance of our technology assets and systems as well as resolving user-submitted help tickets.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

• Associate's degree in Information Technology or related field with 1 to 2 years of IT Help Desk experience
  

or

• 3 to 4 years of IT Help Desk experience with 1 or more industry certifications (A+, Net+, Sec+, etc.)
  

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL:

• Computer, server, and periphery/accessory hardware, software, configuration, and troubleshooting for Windows 10/11 & Windows Server 2016-2022
• Network administration and infrastructure installation, configuration, and troubleshooting (Unifi a plus)
• Microsoft 365 Exchange Online, Azure, Intune, and Entra
• Hyper-V virtualization
• Use of documentation, support ticket management, and remote management tools (Hudu, Jira, and TeamViewer a plus)
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and make decisions independently
• Effective verbal, presentation, and listening skills
• Effective written communication skills
  

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• This position operates primarily in our main office, with local travel to our various remote locations when necessary.
