Insert Operator

Staffmark is excited to offer a fantastic opportunity to join a leader in customer communications management and engagement technology in Suwanee, GA. We are currently hiring for an Insert Operator to become a key part of our dynamic team.

Pay: $16.00-$17.50/hr

Shift(s): 2nd & 3rd Shift (Monday-Friday)

Responsibilities:

• Learn skills such as staging, hand-finishing, and inserting.
• Prep machines and ensure that the weekly and daily schedules are completed.
• Assure all work practices meet OSHA standards.
• Load materials required for jobs such as carriers, pamphlets, and advertisements.
• Operate equipment, ensuring quality and integrity of finished work.
• Detect faulty output or machine stoppages and correct them as necessary.
• Report defective materials or issues to the supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area.
• Follow all company and safety rules, ensuring products are assembled to the highest standards.
  

Position Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 months of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Ability to perform basic math (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs. and stand for extended periods and perform physically intensive tasks.
• Must be able to work in a noisy environment with exposure to chemicals and moving parts.
• Specific vision abilities, including close, distance, and color vision.
