Civil Engineer

Responsibilities/Requirements:
- Demonstrates an understanding of design, installation, commissioning, and O&M of small to large government construction projects
- Experienced in oversight of construction crews and inspection of civil construction in government greenfield and renovation projects
- Experienced in design and design management to include development, reviews and updates, coordination, submittals, Requests for Information (RFIs), version control and storage, and reporting
- Respondents must be familiar with all aspects of a typical construction project lifecycle including integration; scope management; schedule; quality control and quality assurance; communications management; cost and change controls; risk management; stakeholder engagement; managing projects, teams, resources, and processes; and closeout
- Responsibilities include civil construction design, design reviews and updates, coordination, construction monitoring and inspections, responding to RFIs, control and completion of assigned tasks ensuring consistency with project requirements, interfacing with, and providing subject matter expertise to, members of the project team (end user, PD and other government representatives, contractors, local workers, etc.)
- Candidates are accountable for the overall successful execution of assigned tasks and communicating with the Fusion Project Management Office (PMO) in meetings, reporting, and the timely escalation of project issues
- Responsibilities also include the use and protection of classified material
- Requires special training on general and project specific security requirements as well as specialty reporting
- Minimum of bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
- Active Secret or Top-Secret clearance. (Or an active Secret Clearance with the ability to receive a Top Secret).
- Valid passport at least 6 months from expiration.
- COVID, CDC and WHO vaccinations or willing to get vaccinated.
- 7+ years of experience on active construction sites
- AutoCAD and/or Revit
- Microsoft Office
- Highest personal and professional ethical standards
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Must be able to track progress using Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), Integrated Master Schedules (IMS), and project plans
- Must have a high level of attention to detail
- Broad knowledge and experience in commercial construction
- Government construction experience
- Team building experience
- Understanding of contract vehicles, task orders, and know-how to respond to RFP's
