Our services include a state-of-the-art psychiatric urgent care center and a soon-to-be-built pediatric behavioral health center, outpatient, inpatient, partial hospitalization (day programs), assessment and testing, residential, addiction treatment and specialty services such as crisis response, employee assistance programs, forensic psychiatry and psychology, and neuromodulation. On-the-job educational programs for nurses, psychologists, advanced practice providers, psychiatrists, and chaplains are equipping the next generation of care providers.

What Will You Do?
As a Cyber Security Analyst at Pine Rest, you'll be part of tight-knit team that believes in the healing power of your expertise and compassion. The Cyber Security Analyst is responsible for assessing, planning, and enacting security measures to protect Pine Rest from unauthorized access, security breaches, and attacks on technology networks and systems. The position will simulate attacks to identify vulnerabilities, test new software to help protect organizational data, and assist users adhere to new regulations and processes to ensure safe use of the technology. Duties are performed in accordance with Pine Rest's policies and procedures following the organizational standards for ethical business conduct. The Cyber Security Analyst is observed as a positive role model and team member and participates in committees, meetings, in-services, and activities. The Cyber Security Analyst is dedicated to excellent customer service, enthusiastic about the care we offer, and foster a sense of belonging and empowerment in a diverse workplace.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the company's digital assets are protected from unauthorized access.
  • Finding and mitigating risks before breaches occur.
  • Generate reports for administrators and business managers to evaluate the effectiveness of security policies.
  • Create cyber security training programs and materials to educate users on proper security procedures.
  • Keep the cyber security hardware and software systems up to date.
  • Propose additional cyber security measures to keep organizational data safe in response to technological changes.
  • Create documentation and planning material for cyber security related information, including incident response and disaster recovery plans; adjusting plans as technology changes.
  • Lead efforts during a cyber security incident or breach.
  • Monitor access logs.
  • Perform cyber security assessments with vulnerability testing and risk analysis.
  • Analyze possible unauthorized access, incidences, or breaches to identify root cause.
  • Collaborate with third parties that connect with Pine Rest's systems to ensure proper security measures are in place.
  • Execute penetration tests on networks, systems, and applications.
  • In the event of a breach; collect, analyze and report data to aid in crime prevention and investigation.
  • Monitor network traffic and access logs to detect potential threats and respond to those threats promptly.
What Does This Role Require?

Education/Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in the field of Computer Science or Information Systems preferred.
  • Minimum five years of experience in Information Systems.
  • Required certification, one of the following: CompTIA Security+, CISSP, CISA, CRISC, and/or Certified Ethical Hacker
