Description:

As a Customer Service Agent,you will communicate with our customers, carriers, and potential clients daily.Your day will consist of processing shipments and all related responsibilitiesfor the assigned account(s). You must be able to muti-task, be proactive inproviding quality customer service with the ability to handle pressure in afast-paced environment, in a timely and effective manner.

Responsibilities:
  • Generate daily reports to check shipment status and close out shipments
  • Data entry of inbound freight (accounts may vary)
  • Build and maintain relationships with RPM's partners and vendors
  • Update and maintain accounts in a TMS (Transportation Management System)
  • Ensure on-time pickup and delivery of designated shipments
  • Track and trace shipments by utilizing resources such as online tools, email, and telephone
  • Negotiate rates with service providers to ensure profitability
  • Schedule delivery appointments with final mile consignee when needed
  • Collaborate with the team to find solutions for our customers Grow professionally and develop a thorough understanding of the logistics industry
  • Responsibilities may be assigned or changed from time to time according to RPMs needs
Qualifications and skills:
  • Knowledge of Logistics and moving freight
  • MS Office, Windows, and basic business software knowledge
  • Interpersonal Skills

  • Desire to thrive in a fast-paced work environment
