Your role in our team

  • You will develop PLC programs to automate machines using Allen Bradley Studio 5000 software or B&R Automation Studio
  • You will design an operator interface for machine control using Allen Bradley FTView Studio or Java-based HMI development software
  • You will define machine processes with support from mechanical engineering
  • You will assist with the selection of electrical components
  • You will review the safety circuit design and complete machine safety system programming
  • You will provide suggestions for design improvements or changes during all phases of machine design
  • You will integrate third party equipment into machine functions
  • You will debug and prepare the machine for factory acceptance testing (FAT)
  • You will review the operating manuals prepared by the technical writer
  • You will travel to the customer's facility for machine integration and site acceptance testing (SAT)
  • You will communicate and interact with customers in a positive and professional manner
Your profile
  • You have a BS. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering or equivalent
  • Your experience with Allen Bradley or B&R controls components and Fanuc robots is preferred
  • Your familiarity with the following programming languages (Python, Java FX, Java Swing, C#, VB) is a plus
  • Your experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
  • You have the ability to travel up to 25%
