AS A HOSPICE REGISTERED NURSE (RN): you will provide quality nursing care to patients in accordance with recognized nursing techniques, procedures, established standards, and administrative policies of Penn Highlands Community Nurses through the Hospice Interdisciplinary Team. You will be responsible for the administration of direct and indirect patient centered nursing care using nursing judgements based on the nursing process, scientific principles, and nurse practice act. Responsible, as a member of the Hospice IDT, for planning, directing, controlling, observing, and performing of nursing care to meet patient care needs and provide physicians with optimal service.

COVERAGE AREA: BROOKVILLE & CLARION, PA

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Have a current Pennsylvania Registered Nurse License or Temporary Practice Permit
  • Have a current valid Pennsylvania driver's license
  • Must have current automobile coverage
  • Have 2 years of Registered Nurse (RN) experience or LPN experience of at least 5 years in ER/ICU prior to becoming a Registered Nurse (RN)
  • Have ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
  • Be a team player
