Electrical Test Engineer Job Description We are seeking a skilled Electrical Test Engineer to validate electrical components, circuits, and systems. The candidate will also develop and execute test cases for embedded and Internet of Things (IoT) devices, ensuring proper functionality and adherence to design requirements. Responsibilities Validate electrical components, circuits, and systems to ensure proper functionality and adherence to design requirements. Validate embedded and Internet of Things (IoT) devices to ensure proper functionality and adherence to design requirements. Develop and execute test cases to assess the functionality and performance of embedded software components. Conduct software integration testing to verify interactions between hardware and software. Collaborate with test technicians to utilize specialized equipment and instrumentation to execute tests accurately and efficiently. Design and develop specialized test fixtures to facilitate accurate and repeatable testing, ensuring fixtures adhere to industry standards and best practices. Assist in the selection and procurement of specialized lab equipment. Assist in the maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of lab equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability. Analyze test data to identify trends, deviations, and potential areas for improvement. Generate detailed test reports, summarizing findings and recommendations for further development. Essential Skills Proficiency in electrical engineering. Expertise in hardware and software testing. Experience with the validation of embedded and IoT devices. Ability to develop and execute test cases for embedded software components. Experience in software integration testing. Capability to design and develop specialized test fixtures. Knowledge in the selection and maintenance of lab equipment. Strong data analysis skills. Excellent report generation skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE). Work Environment The work environment involves collaboration with test technicians and the use of specialized equipment and instrumentation. The role requires assisting in the selection, maintenance, and calibration of lab equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability.
