Claims Processor - Sacramento, CA

We have a fantastic company needing assistance with processing claims. This company is located in Sacramento and has a beautiful office. In this role, you will be assisting the claims department with collecting important documentation, issuing payments, data entry, and maintaining records. What we need from you:

  • Experience - You have at least 2-3+ years of claims processing experience

  • Customer Service - You have phenomenal customer service, communication, and telephone skills

  • Comprehensive Knowledge - Understanding of insurance terminology and processing claims

  • Software - You are proficient with Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and other claims management systems or risk management software

Responsibilities:

  • Verify that claims are completed and accurate before sending them to the claims adjuster/examiner.

  • Evaluate claim amounts and assist with processing payments.

  • Responsible for scheduling inspection appointments and documenting a findings report.

  • Manage the documentation of information to ensure all necessary paperwork is finalized.

  • Research insurance information to determine if a claim should be processed or denied coverage.

  • Make arrangements for inspection appointments and note the findings in the reports.
