Work Shift: Staffing Options Program

The Per Diem Clinical Nurse for the Adult Emergency Department is responsible for assessing, coordinating, and managing the needs of assigned patients throughout their care. This includes implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments and procedures, and evaluating patient responses to care. The nurse will also collaborate with the caregiving team to create a Plan of Care for all patients and maintain standards of professional nursing.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a professional nursing program
  • Current NYS Registered Nurse license
  • Certification in BLS/ACLS/PALS/TNCC
  • 1-3 years of clinical nursing experience in an Emergency Department
  • Ability to improve job performance through continuing education
  • Knowledge of quality concepts and principles
