Company Description: MLee Healthcare is seeking a skilled and dedicated Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join a dynamic team in Northeast Vermont. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a vital role in our diagnostic imaging department, utilizing specialized equipment to administer radiopharmaceuticals and perform imaging procedures. Your expertise will contribute to accurate diagnosis and treatment planning for our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients following established protocols.
  • Operate nuclear medicine imaging equipment to acquire high-quality images of organs and tissues.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures, providing clear instructions and answering questions.
  • Analyze images and data for quality control and accuracy, ensuring diagnostic quality.
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to interpret imaging results and formulate patient treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed.
  • Adhere to radiation safety protocols and regulations to minimize radiation exposure risks.
Qualifications:
  • Graduate of an accredited program in Nuclear Medicine. Associates or Baccalaureate Degree in Nuclear Medicine is required.
  • ARRT certification in Nuclear Medicine Technology or active NMTCB (CNMT) certification
  • Vermont Nuclear Medicine Technologist license or eligibility to obtain state license.
  • This position requires verification of your college transcript. Please be prepared to provide a copy should you be invited for an interview.
  • Epic experience is preferred
  • PET/CT experience
  • Level I trauma center experience
  • One year of paid nuclear medicine technologist experience
