What does a Vehicle/Building Maintenance Assistant do?

As a Full-Time Vehicle/Building Maintenance Assistant at Wasatch Behavioral Health in Provo, Utah, you will be an integral part of our team, supporting our Vehicle Maintenance Specialist in various repairs and maintenance tasks for our extensive fleet of vehicles. Your responsibilities will range from transporting vehicles to cleaning and assisting with minor repairs. In addition to vehicle maintenance, you will have the opportunity to contribute to building and grounds upkeep, including landscaping, sprinkler repair, and minor electrical or plumbing tasks.

Your role will also involve biohazard abatement for small spills in both vehicles and buildings.

To excel as a Full-Time Vehicle/Building Maintenance Assistant at Wasatch Behavioral Health in Provo, Utah, you must possess a diverse set of skills. Proficiency in basic auto mechanics, small engine repair, and landscaping practices are essential. Familiarity with mechanical operations and repair methods for equipment such as sprinkler irrigation systems and grounds maintenance tools i.e power tools, lawn mowers & weed whackers is crucial. The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to assess service and supply requirements for tasks, communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, and establish positive working relationships with colleagues and the community. Strong organizational skills, the capacity to work independently, and prioritize tasks are key attributes for this role. The ability to handle occasional stress from time-sensitive deadlines and high workloads is also necessary to thrive in this position. Spanish speaking preferred but not required. Education & Experience

  1. High school diploma or GED; And
