The HCM Specialist is responsible for utilizing software platforms to enhance, organize and report on HR/Payroll information. The primary focus of this position is the support and maintenance of the Human Capital Management (HCM) system in addition to associated systems supported by the HR and IT teams. Serves as a technical HCM point-of-contact for assigned functional areas and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, testing of system changes, report writing and process improvement opportunities.

May include:

Support the management of HR systems; including data audits to ensure data integrity, system configuration, scheduled and ad-hoc reporting, basic to advanced programming and system troubleshooting.

Participate in system implementations & testing.

Fulfill company-wide report requests and provide HR reporting support. Ensure validity of reporting results. Develop weekly, monthly, quarterly reporting dashboards for HR, TA and Senior Management teams.

Maintain high degree of confidentiality in maintaining team member personal data and when providing reports and data to requestors.

Perform exports and imports of data, as required. Prepare and analyze reports and maintain records

Be accountable for the accuracy and quality control of all work and communications.

Build, maintain and promote relationships with team members, peers across disciplines, staff and all other company team members ensuring effective coordination of communications and services affecting clients.

Manage maintenance and accuracy of employee data, for reporting and distribution.

Gain, continually acquire and apply a knowledge and understanding of Business processes and HR systems, procedures and application of data, in order to provide customer with best practice recommendations and guidance, and to ensure accuracy, quality and opportunities to integrate between the systems.

Collaborate, develop, and maintain scalable solutions for ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, etc. to support analytical and business needs with a strategic and predictive focus.

Analyze user's requests, identify problems, research solutions, and resolve technical problems as needed for the wide variety of HR applications and HR systems supported within the company.

Engage and work with the customer and internal teams to ensure they are informed of all relevant changes to the system and to coordinate activities or projects as necessary.

Develop basic database queries and perform analysis on results. Ensure proper testing of systems and integrations and resolve all system issues.

Provide support in functional areas of HR including staffing and recruitment, employee / labor relations, compensation management, benefits and employee services, organizational development, training, equal employment opportunity, projects, records, etc.

Make recommendations and implement to effectively resolve problems to drive continuous improvement efforts

Facilitate training as needed; may develop user procedures, guidelines and documentation

Participate in additional projects to support ongoing business needs

Nature and Scope:

Ensures work aligns with established goals, objects and delivers high quality, on-time results

Makes recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues

Develops predictive and strategic tools for business processes

Supports HR & business using the HCM tools, trains and assists HRBP's and SME's

Knowledge and Skills:

Proven programming experience and understanding of common programming languages; SQL, Python, etc.

Demonstrated system experience with Tableau, Workforce Dimensions (Kronos), HRIS SaaS and Payroll systems/solutions

Proficiency in MS Office applications, specifically Excel & PowerPoint - 365 applications a plus

Ability to create and organize within cloud sharing based solutions (SharePoint, OneDrive, etc.)

Understands fundamental HR concepts, practices, procedures and applications

High level of attention to detail, strong analytical, critical/strategic thinking and problem-solving skills

Effective interpersonal skills including excellent written & verbal communication skills and able with the ability to communicate findings and complex ideas into an understandable manner

Effective organizational and time management skill with ability to be flexible/adapt; ability to succeed within a changing environment and willingness to dive into projects of all sizes

Strong collaboration skills and positive relationship/team building skills with ability to seek input, accept, and incorporate feedback from others, offer assistance and able to provide results with minimal supervision

Ability to apply good judgement, high degree of discretion, strong work ethics and integrity on the job

Experience:

3+ years of experience in related field with proven experience working with multiple projects to meet tight delivery timeframes

Education:

Bachelor's degree in related field - Information systems, etc. Preferred, not required
