SEACORP is seeking a well-qualified Cybersecurity Systems Analyst.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Job Summary: SEACORP is looking for a Cybersecurity Systems Analyst. The Cybersecurity Systems Analyst will assistwith cybersecurity management for operational performance and compliance forall networks, systems and applications, and supports centralized management ofSecurity Assessments (SA), ongoing assessments, new authorizations, proposesinformation security technical and administrative solutions, develops andexecutes plans for monitoring and assessing networks, systems and applications,supports sustainment of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) Assessment andAuthorization (A&A) process.

Job Responsibilities Include:

Continuous Monitoring Management:

  • Monitor security systems controls and log them for record.
  • Analyze security alerts and incidents and respond promptly to mitigate risks.
  • Implement and maintain security monitoring tools and processes.
Documentation and Test Results Review:
  • Review and analyze security documentation, including NIST 800-53 and 800-171 test results and assessments standards.
  • Ensure compliance with security policies and standards.
Level 1 Linux Help and Support:
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Linux-based systems.
  • Respond to user inquiries and assist in resolving issues.
System Configuration:
  • Configure and maintain Linux and Windows systems, including hardware and software installations.
  • Implement security configurations based on best practices and security standards.
SCAP/STIGs Vulnerability Management:
  • Manage Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP) and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) to ensure system security.
  • Conduct vulnerability scans and remediation activities.
Patch Management:
  • Develop and implement a patch management strategy to keep systems up to date with the latest security patches.
  • Test and deploy patches to minimize system downtime and security risks.
Audits:
  • Assist with internal and external security audits.
  • Provide documentation and evidence to support audit findings and recommendations.
IDS Tool Management and Investigations:
  • Manage and maintain intrusion detection systems (IDS).
  • Investigate security incidents and alerts to determine the root cause and impact.
  • Respond to security incidents and implement corrective actions.
  • Assist with incident response planning and training.
Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor's Degree. Additional training or education in area of specialization.; Security+, CYSA+ or Security certification, preferred.

Experience: A minimum of three years of experience.

Ideal Skills and Experience:
  • In depth knowledge of NISTSP 800-53 and NIST SP 800-37 Rev 2. FedRAMP knowledge preferred.
  • Knowledge of Qualys andTenable applications with the ability to identify, assess, and remediate reportdata.
  • Exceptional verbal andwritten communication.
  • Understand ContinuousMonitoring of cloud and non-cloud systems.
  • Recommend solutions to avariety of system, infrastructure and application problems of moderate scope& complexity.
  • Management all requiredassessment activities for cloud and non-cloud systems.
  • Contribute to thecompletion of organizational projects & goals.
