Location: Akron or Cleveland OH - remote flexibility

Responsibilities:
  • Review returns for individual and corporate tax clients including federal, foreign and state and local
  • Manage federal and state tax audits
  • Research and consult on complex tax issues
Qualifications and Skills
  • Minimum of 5 years of recent tax experience in a public accounting firm REQUIRED.
  • Middle market client experience is a must (between $30-200M in revenue, corporate clients vs. PCS/individual)
  • CPA required
  • Strong team management skills - the ability to lead, motivate, and coach teams of people.
  • Demonstrated ability and presence as a role model for other staff and professionals, including as a result of professional and technical reputation.
  • Experience in one or more specialized areas/industries
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required, Master's degree preferred
  • Established (or developing) industry-specific reputation and visibility, including a strong network of professional contacts and centers of influence
  • Strong corporate tax background and technical skills
