Position Description The Warehouse Coordinator will provide a comprehensive and efficient administrative service to the warehouse department encompassing input, monitoring, and integrity of data onto the computerized systems and manual documents in addition to regular system audits and housekeeping duties. Essential Functions: Adhere to all health and safety policies/procedures, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and wear the required personal protective equipment (PPE) while in the warehouse or production areas. Coordinating transportation providers to ensure prompt and proper movement of shipments both inbound and outbound Responding to customer service inquiries and referring to proper channels. Reviewing Delivery orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy Making special shipping arrangements as necessary Tracking and fixing shipping errors. Preparing bills and invoices for accounting Ensuring that the quality of all services provided meets the required standards. Organizing and managing inventory. Other activities or tasks deemed appropriate for this position. Requirements Education and Experience: High school diploma/GED required. Three (3) plus years’ transportation dispatch and customer service experience required. Food/beverage logistics industry experience preferred. Position-specific skills: SAP or other supply chain software experience required. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Windows, Excel, & Outlook) with the ability to learn new applications as required Initiative, the ability to work independently, strong customer service orientation, strong written and verbal skills and flexibility, vision and creativity. Ability to prioritize and multi-task in an organized, detailed manner, given limited time frames. Working Conditions: Physical - Continuously standing or walking. Visual/Sensory - This position requires regular need to give moderate attention with one or two senses at a time. Work Environment - Work and environment are very repetitive. Climate: This position requires the incumbent to have the ability to work in ambient hot and/or cold seasonal environments.
