Description

Stuller, Inc. is the largest jewelry manufacturing and distribution facility in the United States and an industry leader in the domestic and international jewelry sectors. The position of Model Stone Setter Apprentice is responsible for stone setting different shapes and size stones in mountings under the leadership of the Director of Model.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and adapt hand tools, techniques, and stones.
  • Demonstrate extensive knowledge of the production process.
  • Understand product design and requirements, including sizes and types of stones.
  • Know all stone setting terminology.
  • Inspect and ensure quality assurance of products.
  • Use sharp tools, hand files, and handheld rotary tools.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to perform high quality work to meet strict standards
  • Able to handle tedious, repetitious work
  • Concentration and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous work experience in stone setting
  • Proficiency in metal smith skills
