Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and versatile professional to join our team as a PeopleSoft Campus Solution Academic Advisement Business Analyst/Architect. In this dual-role position, you will be responsible for analyzing, configuring, and architecting the academic advisement module within PeopleSoft Campus Solutions. You will collaborate with academic advisors, IT professionals, and other stakeholders to optimize academic advisement processes and enhance the student experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Analyst Responsibilities:
  1. System Analysis and Requirements Gathering:
    • nalyze existing academic advisement processes and identify opportunities for improvement and automation.
    • Collaborate with academic advisors to gather, document, and prioritize requirements related to academic advisement, degree audits, and what-if analyses.
  2. PeopleSoft Configuration and Customization:
    • Configure PeopleSoft Campus Solutions to align with the institution's academic advisement requirements, including degree programs, course catalogs, and academic rules.
    • Develop and maintain rules and policies within PeopleSoft for accurate degree audits and advisement reports.
  3. Testing and Quality Assurance:
    • Plan, execute, and document testing activities to ensure the accuracy and reliability of the academic advisement module within PeopleSoft.
    • Collaborate with end-users to perform user acceptance testing and gather feedback for system enhancements.
rchitect Responsibilities:
  1. System Architecture and Design:
    • Define the overall architectural structure of the academic advisement module within PeopleSoft, including data flows, components, and integrations.
    • Ensure that the architecture supports scalability, performance, and security requirements.
  2. Integration and Interoperability:
    • rchitect integration solutions to connect PeopleSoft Campus Solutions with other campus systems, such as student information systems, class registration, and financial aid systems.
    • Ensure seamless data exchange and real-time updates between systems.
  3. System Optimization and Scalability:
    • Identify opportunities for system optimization and scalability enhancements to accommodate the institution's growth and evolving needs.
    • Monitor system performance and recommend improvements as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., IT, Business Administration, Education) required; Master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience with PeopleSoft Campus Solutions, particularly in the area of academic advisement.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of higher education and academic advising practices.
