Trinity Technology Group, Inc. is seeking a full-time employee to join us as a Release Manager. Candidate should be a self-motivated, driven individual who is comfortable working in a global, matrixed, fast-paced environment.

Remote work is possible as long as you can commit to 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Pacific Standard time. Salary depends on geographic location and experience.

Project Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of software releases in collaboration with government stakeholders and various development and operational support vendors.
  • Establish and maintain a standardized software release process using ServiceNow for Agile and non-agile teams and infrastructure teams across multiple products.
  • Define controls and release phase gates for production and non-production environments.
  • Ensure well-tested software product updates are released across production and non-production hybrid-cloud environments while maintaining stability and minimizing or eliminating disruptions.
  • Facilitate and manage software release planning meetings and release retrospective sessions with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Update tracking and reporting in ServiceNow for all planned future releases and completed past releases to ensure accurate status information is available for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure all technology teams are following proper change management procedures, carefully planning changes, assessing, and minimizing risk, establishing rollback plans and communicating with all teams and stakeholders potentially impacted by the changes.
  • Interact with business stakeholders, Product Managers, Release Train Engineers, Scrum Masters, Delivery Leads, Enterprise Architects, DevOps Engineers, Application Teams, and IT Infrastructure Teams.
  • Use an Agile delivery model in order to streamline and improve CI/CD processes and delivery.

Flexibility to manage emergency and off-hours changes.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • At least 3 years coordinating releases for multiple delivery teams.
  • At least 3 years working with DevOps teams and IT to develop a branch strategy with continuous integration and automation based on industry best practices.
  • At least 5 years overseeing release cadences and aligning solutions, changes, and features to a release calendar.
  • At least 5 years facilitating interaction and appropriate communication between scrum teams, architecture, and UX.
  • Strong technical skills to validate software release versioning.
  • Hands-on experience using ServiceNow, Git, Jenkins, and other DevOps, DevSecOps tools.
  • High facilitation and collaboration skills.
  • Strong influential skills - must be able to work confidently and effectively with multiple departments and vendors.
  • ServiceNow ITSM Release Management.
  • Support projects using an Agile delivery mode.

Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • Previous Public Sector experience.
  • Previous health care experience.
