Coastal Mechanical, one of the largest mechanical contractors in the Southeast, is currently seeking experienced commercial HVAC/Sheetmetal mechanics to work in the Boca Raton Florida area on large commercial projects. Mainly hospitals, schools, Universities, and Government facilities. This is a Safety Sensitive position.

Requirements

Requirements and responsibilities:

• Mechanics 4-6 years Commercial Sheetmetal Duct installation experience

• Fabricate, assemble, install, sheet metal equipment and HVAC duct

• Must be able to read blueprints and read specs

• Follow safety procedures

• Ability to work independently on Special Projects

• Background checks, motor vehicle checks, drug screening performed

• Position may include constant walking/standing, lifting/pulling, climbing ladders and outside work with weather conditions.

Essential Functions:

• Climbing up and down ladders

• Push, pull and frequently carry objects as tools, materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds. -

• Stoop, kneel, crouch and crawl. - Stand and walk for long periods of time. -

• See and hear well with or without correction to avoid safety hazards to themselves and others.

• Overtime and weekend availability, regular attendance

• Work in heat and various other weather conditions

• Possible travel to current job sites within Florida
