Position Overview
As a Registered Dietitian, you will have the opportunity to oversee and provide optimal nutrition therapy to a case load of clients. You will develop care plans by conducting nutrition assessments, monitoring on-going medical conditions, and through collaboration with the other members of our multidisciplinary treatment team. You will work directly with patients and their families providing support and nutritional education.
***$3,000 Sign-on Bonus***
Sign on bonus applicable to external candidates only and subject to tax.
Schedule
- Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
How Registered Dietitians Empower Recovery
- Conducts nutrition assessments for all assigned patients in accordance with policy and procedures and in compliance with all regulatory standards.
- Contributes to multidisciplinary case conceptualization and treatment planning.
- Provides group nutrition education as assigned.
- Provides active meal coaching and support for patients and families/communities of support, including participating in and completing Therapeutic Supported Meals/Snacks as appropriate and as assigned.
- Provides nutrition specific transition/aftercare planning for all patients including communication with internal and external dietitians to ensure coordination of care.
- Collaborates with Nutrition and Culinary Manager and nutrition team when needing or providing clinical coverage.
- Registered Dietitian credential required
- Current license in the state of employment (Georgia) required
- One year of clinical experience
