Description: Ellington Public Schools is seeking a Long-Term Substitute School Nurse within the district's TEC special education program. This position will start in September 2024 and conclude in mid-January.

Qualifications: TEC serves students in Kindergarten through age 22 with special needs. This position is Monday - Friday (school days only), 7:15am - 2:15pm.

This position requires an organized, knowledgeable and personable Registered Nurse to work within a collaborative school community to ensure the safety and wellness of students, faculty and staff. Applicants must possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with students. Applicants must be an RN and hold a current CT license. Successful candidate will be required to submit to a state and national criminal history check as well as a DCF review as is required by Connecticut state statute.

Working Conditions: Substitute nurses will be paid at the rate of $40.00/hour. There are no additional benefits.
