Under the direction of the department manager, assumes responsibility for day-to-day activities in the department. The Lead Radiation Therapist is technically and clinically competent, exceeds in the technical and clinical competency standards for staff Radiation Therapists and serves as a clinical resource to department staff. Clinical responsibilities account for 75% or more of worked hours.

Required Qualifications:
- Coursework/Training: Satisfactory completion of a formal therapeutic radiological technology training program at an approved school.
- National Certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire
- California Diagnostic and Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification upon hire or
- California Therapeutic Radiologic Technology Certification upon hire.
- Experience in IMRT.

About the Team
Providence Physician Enterprise (PE) is a service line within Providence serving patients across seven states with quality, compassionate, coordinated care.
