Psych Tech Coordinator and Full-Time Nursing Faculty

Job Overview:

  • Serve as the Psych Tech Coordinator and Nursing Faculty teaching courses in the nursing program.
  • Develop curricula and design course syllabi, including incorporating technology such as simulation into teaching methods.
  • Provide didactic and clinical instruction to nursing students, assess learning outcomes, and report student progress in a timely manner.
  • Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience in mental health and current CPR or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Preference given to those with varied nursing experience and teaching experience.

Work Schedule:

  • Per course schedule with a minimum of 15 contact hours of teaching, in addition to program coordination. Six office hours per week for student consultation.
  • May require evening and weekend instruction and participation in college committees and division initiatives.

Position Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Nursing with a current unencumbered Registered Nurse license (Illinois) or eligibility for Illinois license
