Dotnet Developer

Duration : 12 Months contract with possible extension

Daily Duties / Responsibilities:

• Participate in design and development meetings.
• Complete assigned development tasks within the required timeframe.
• Communicate regularly with management to provide updates and report roadblocks.
• Maintain task list to document work in progress and work completed.
• Ensure thorough documentation at the code level and user level.

Required Skills (Rank in Order of Importance):

• An Associate's degree or a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field and at least 5 years of experience in Microsoft .NET application development.
• Comprehensive knowledge of system architecture (design and maintenance) in the Microsoft MVC 5 framework environment. C#.NET or programming language.
• Experience in writing SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Ability to analyze data and provide solutions to complex problems.
• Must be able to work independently and keep management informed of progress. Must be able to provide project resource estimates and adhere to project schedules and deadlines. The position requires discretion, confidentiality, and decisiveness.
• Must be capable of working in an environment with incarcerated juveniles.

Preferred Skills (Rank in Order of Importance):

• Microsoft SQL Server database experience and familiarity with SQL reporting.

• Associate degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field.
