An urban level 1 trauma center and transplant program in Pennsylvania is seeking a Cardiac Anesthesiologist. The incoming physician will provide anesthesia for cardiac, liver transplants, and general cases. They expect 500 cardiac cases for FY21 and the position is TEE certified and requires a cardiac fellowship. This is an integrated anesthesia department with 29 anesthesiologists and 40 CRNAs. The incoming physician will supervise and provide teaching services for medical students and CRNA trainees.

  • TEE certification and cardiac fellowship are required
  • J1 and H1-B visa holders can be supported
  • Competitive compensation package, health benefits, vacation, and CME time
  • Cardiac call is 1:6 taken from home with post-call day off or paid if you come in, no general call
  • New graduates are welcomed and supported
  • Bread and butter cases, LVAD, TAVR, aortic valve replacement, minimal invasive clips, and CABG procedures expected
