Communicates in a positive, effective manner with clients, families and all internal and external providers. Attends any required meetings. Meets direct service productivity goals as defined by program. Demonstrates knowledge of program/department/agency goals and target outcomes, adheres to practice standards, data collection and reporting protocols. Documents all client-related information in compliance with agency policy. Attends and is prepared for scheduled supervision. Seeks additional supervision or consultation as needed and follows through with supervisory directives. Provides service in the office and /or community settings outside of the office (e.g., homes, schools, hospitals, institutions, other community locations) as defined by the program. Transports youth to appointments and activities. Maintains required license and certifications. Reports child abuse/neglect as mandated, adheres to confidentiality guidelines and meets all necessary licensing, regulatory and accreditation standards, as related to the program, staff, records and care of youth. May provide clinical supervision, training and leadership, as well as assumes additional responsibility within the program. Demonstrates clinical competence in a congregate care setting as evidenced by teaming skills, knowledge of milieu-based programming, trauma-informed care, trauma-focused treatment, developmentally and gender sensitive care, and relational practices, as well as documentation and regulatory requirements. Continues to develop knowledge and understanding about the history, traditions, values, family systems, and artistic expression of groups served as well as uses appropriate methodological approaches, skills, and techniques that reflect an understanding of culture.
