Welcome aspiring engineers SEAKR is currently looking to fill a Systems Engineering internship role for the summer of 2024. SEAKR brings a combination of active and social employees together with a common interest of providing space proven hardware for a variety of different companies and major space programs throughout the world. Not only will you be gaining valuable hands-on real-world experience, you will also get to know SEAKR as a company and the many non-work-related activities and social clubs/interactions we have to offer.

The Systems Engineering internship will focus on developing and refining your systems engineering skills while learning about SEAKR and our amazing technologies. We are looking for someone who is excited about space and what it takes to create the diverse SEAKR products which excel in the harsh environments of space.  Our ideal candidate will have excellent written and oral communication skills along with a drive to learn and expand their knowledge of systems engineering. Our interns will be working on-site this summer. During your summer internship you will be an active contributor to at least one on-going program at SEAKR while focusing on your development of core system engineering skills and traits. This would include understanding the program life cycle, working with both requirements and the test procedures of a program, understanding the system and how everything comes together as well as customer interactions.

Our mentors and team members guide you through your work, help you to integrate into our culture of collaboration and further develop and gain new skills. At the end of your internship, we ask you to summarize your work experience and lessons learned through a formal presentation to the company leadership team.

SEAKR is seeking a 2024 Systems Engineering summer Intern in Centennial, CO.

Start Date: Monday, May 20th, 2024
End Date: Thursday, August 8th, 2024

Qualifications

Completion of at least sophomore year of classes with a minimum GPA of 3.0 (using 4.0 scale) in one of the following majors from an ABET accredited school:

  • Aerospace Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Computer Engineering

  • Compensation: Base pay range is $25-28/hour depending on qualifications.
