EXPLEO GROUP USA is currently looking for MRB Design Engineers to join our team for an exciting new opportunity in Tulsa, OK, United States.

Salary: based on experience.

Relocation bonus: $ 5000 from Expleo, and $ 5000 match from InTulsa (need to show proof of living in Tulsa, rent for 1 year or more).

Retention bonus: $ 2500 after 1 year.

* Experience that will put you ahead as a candidate:
  • Past or present Boeing MRB Signing Authority is preferred.
  • Structure/design engineer experience with Boeing commercial products.
Optional working schedules possible: Office based in Tulsa
  • Full and Part Time Day shifts
Responsibilities:
  • Carry out design analysis and creating design dispositions for detail part and assembly non-conformances, assessing different repair scenarios for fit, form and function
  • Ability to identify the most efficient methods for analysis while ensuring adherence to relevant airworthiness and customer procedural requirements
  • Able to liaise with multiple functions/suppliers (e.g., Design/Stress approvers) to ensure most appropriate design solution is met with consideration to cost, time, performance and installation requirements
  • Customer facing
  • Ability to explain and escalate critical issues and an ability to mentor others
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of a BS in Aerospace Engineering (Mechanical, Design, Structural etc.)
  • Experience working on Boeing products and structures preferred, either directly or within the Supply Chain, for a minimum of three years and ideally having held a level of delegated technical approval
  • Understanding of material properties, production & manufacturing methods and practices and their effect on aircraft performance, preferably with both metallic and composite capabilities
  • Working knowledge of CATIA V5 for interrogation and drawing/model modification
  • Previous Design Organization Approval (DOA) would be advantageous for the role
  • TIPQA or MES an advantage
