Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct an immediate search for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer for our client, a leading MEP engineering consulting firm located in Arlington, VA

What you will be doing:
  • Demonstrating proficiency in electrical design for commercial office building projects, including utility coordination, lighting systems design, power distribution system design, fire alarm system design, standby electrical system design, and electrical construction documentation preparation.
  • Possessing a working knowledge of building, electrical codes, energy codes, and applicable NFPA standards.
  • Showing a commitment to client satisfaction and responsiveness.
  • Working independently and in a team setting, organizing workflow and delegating tasks to others.
  • Exhibiting good visual, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Leading multiple projects as a discipline leader.
  • Managing MEP teams effectively.
  • Utilizing AutoCAD proficiently (familiarity with Revit modeling is desirable).

  • 3+ years of experience as an Electrical Design Engineer
