Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Greet guests warmly and provide a welcoming atmosphere upon arrival.

  • Assist customers through the rental process, providing knowledgeable guidance and support.

  • Serve retail customers with enthusiasm and expertise, ensuring a positive shopping experience.

  • Perform end-of-day procedures to ensure smooth operations and prepare for the next business day.

  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the retail area, presenting a tidy and inviting space for customers.

  • Collaborate with the Rental Manager to coordinate rental deliveries and ensure timely service.

  • Answer phones and provide helpful assistance to callers, transcribing messages and relaying them to the appropriate team members.

  • Book rental equipment and manage reservations efficiently, maintaining accurate records and documentation.

  • Communicate effectively with other departments to facilitate seamless operations and ensure optimal customer satisfaction.

  • Perform any other duties as may be assigned from time to time to support the overall operation of the marina.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent qualification.

  • Efficient and self-motivated with a strong work ethic.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.

  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

  • Willingness to work holidays and weekends to accommodate business needs.

  • Basic understanding of computer programs such as Excel and Word.

  • Previous experience in a marina or with boats and watercraft is preferred.

  • Previous customer service experience is advantageous.

Job Types and Pay: Fulltime Seasonal $14.15 - $18.00 per hour

Schedule: 8-hour shifts Weekends are a must
