Position Overview:

Coordinates and organizes day to day sonography operations, including work assignments of the sonographers, diagnostic imaging aides, training new staff (sonographer)and students. Expertly performs routine and specialized sonography procedures of high complexity to produce quality images to physicians and other health care providers for the diagnosis, treatment, monitoring and prevention of injury or disease. Implements and updates policies, procedures and protocols to streamline workflow, improve efficiency, and strengthen radiation protection/safety measures. Ensures the timely delivery of accurate imaging services and oversees the efficient maintenance and operation of all radiological equipment. Serves as the liaison between Diagnostic Imaging and staff, physicians, patients, family and other hospital staff. Adheres to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies and procedures to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care.

Graduate of an accredited sonography program

CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:

ARDMS (OB)

NTQR certificate of program completion

OR FMF NT certificate of program completion

DEPARTMENT REQUIRED CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:

Department, PAMF: ARDMS (FE)

TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
5 years of recent relevant experience.

Pay Range is $75.50 to $94.37 / hour

The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate's experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Sutter Health. Eligible roles also qualify for a comprehensive benefits package.
