Title: Assembly / Rework Technician

Location: Onsite in Redmond, WA

Duration: 9-month contract (long-term extensions & conversion to FTE possible)

Compensation: $26.00 - $28.00 /hr

Work Requirements: US Citizen, GC Holders or Authorized to Work in the U.S.

Skillset / Experience:

Day to day: In this role, you'll build electronic kits at a workstation, perform PCBA modifications, wire harness fabrication, and prototype hardware testing. Tasks include reworking PCBAs with hand soldering, reading schematics, and using electronic test equipment like oscilloscopes and power supplies. You'll also document non-conformances and work performed, ensuring clear communication with engineers and timely completion of tasks.

Basic Qualifications:
  • 1-3+ years of experience in PCBA modification, wire harness fabrication, and prototype hardware testing for the aerospace industry.
  • Must have current or recently expired certification in IPC soldering standards including 7711/7721, J-STD, and J-STD Space applications
  • Experience with PCBA rework, including hand soldering of electronic components and reading schematics
  • Experience with common electronic test equipment (oscilloscopes, power supplies, function generators, etc.)
  • Proven track record of delivering results on time.
  • Experience supporting the development of space based systems
  • Experience working in aerospace manufacturing.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to review and develop written instructions, document work performed, and follow up with engineers as needed.
  • Degree or certificate in related field
