We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Permanent Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in the Medical industry. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced LPN who is passionate about women's health and OBGYN. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in these areas and will be committed to providing high-quality care to our patients. This role offers the chance to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment where you will be able to make a real difference to the health and well-being of our patients.

Responsibilities

As a Permanent Licensed Practical Nurse, your responsibilities will include:

1. Providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in the areas of women's health and OBGYN, under the supervision of a registered nurse or physician.
2. Performing physical examinations and health histories before making critical decisions.
3. Preparing patients for, and assisting with, examinations and treatments.
4. Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician.
5. Providing health education and counseling to patients.
6. Collaborating with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
7. Documenting all patient interactions and care provided accurately and in a timely manner.
8. Maintaining a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
9. Participating in professional development activities to keep abreast of the latest developments in the field of nursing and women's health.

Qualifications

To be considered for the role of Permanent Licensed Practical Nurse, you will need:

1. A valid and current LPN license.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience as an LPN, with a focus on women's health and OBGYN.
3. Demonstrated knowledge and competence in areas of patient care related to women's health, including but not limited to prenatal care, postpartum care, gynecological care, family planning, and health education.
4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with patients and colleagues.
5. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
6. The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
7. A commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
8. CPR certification would be an added advantage.
